The 1st Day of 2010

The pics are from this morning.

We wish ALL our friends a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year!!!!
Due to no longer having as much time and due to having lost some of the inspiration - Alih, James and I have decided to take a break from the blog for a while. However, we promise to still visit YOUR blogs as often as we can.
James will continue with Weight Pull training, obedience, search and all the other activities. This year we will also return to the Show Ring. Our first show will be in February, so please cross your fingers for us. We'll keep you updated on how that works out.
I am hoping to keep my other blog alive... we'll see how that works though but if you're feeling like it, please stop by and say hi.

Father's Day!

Today is Father's Day in Sweden ... so HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all the Dads!

Blog Vacation

Alih, James and I have decided to take a summer break from our blog. That’s not to say we won’t post any pics but there will definitely not be any daily updates. We are taking blog vacation in other words. ;) We wish all of you a fantastic summer!!

GLAD MIDSOMMAR!

It is midsummer in Sweden today which means big celebrations across the country. A garland of flowers on top of the head is traditional for the girls to wear; Alih & James wore it around their necks instead. Well, James ran around with the garland in his mouth for awhile before someone managed to stop him. ;) Lots of food is also enjoyed during this holiday. :)
HAPPY MIDSUMMER! GLAD MIDSOMMAR!

Bonfire

Above pic was taken outside our home a couple of nights ago.
If it's something Swedes are good at, its celebrating various holidays. And by celebrating, I mean having time off from work. If the Americans (and probably the rest of the world too for that matter) knew how many holidays (i.e. non-working days) Swedes have a year, they would be jealous for the rest of their lives. It rocks if you live in Sweden, though. :)
Tonight, it is time to celebrate the arrival of SPRING by standing around a huge bonfire. :) Wikipedia calls the holiday Walpurgis Night in English so, I wish all of you a Happy Walpurgis Night! :)
TREVLIG VALBORG!!!!
